You want more from yourself and more from the person helping you, and we know that. There was a point in time that it was ok to have a doctor tell you to stop smoking when they smell of cigarette smoke themselves. In this world of options, that is no longer acceptable. You know that practicing what you preach is important and that the doing is the hard part of life. We are our own experiment. We are the workshop that we test our systems through before they go to the public. We are convergent of our experiences and divergent in our thoughts. We are inclusive of what works and exclusive of what does not. We are doctors and athletes. We ride horses and pick up heavy things. We find time for handstands and hugs. We explore movement and meditation. We have walked the walk so we can talk the talk and we know that you will appreciate that.
The world of athletic performance is replete with capable practitioners. Many people develop effective systems of treatment and movements that can bring many people to the next level. Move Better Chiropractic is different in that we use the ultimate measure of efficiency in our treatments . . . time. We believe that there is no wrong movement, there is no wrong exercise, and there is no wrong plan. We do believe that there are inefficient movements, inefficient exercises, and inefficient plans. All athletes, professional or weekend warriors, need to save their time as much as possible. Less time training provides more time for recovery, family, nutrition, mental health, work, vacations, and practicing the skill that is their sport. This idea continues to shape our practice and allows us to continually find ways to improve, never becoming stagnant in our ideas or our efforts.
This paradigm leads us to create concise programming plans that allow us to measure results both in the clinic and in your sport. We integrate ideas from all aspects of movement. We draw from powerlifters, bodybuilders, martial artists, dancers, ultrarunners, equestrian sports, track and field, shot putters, gymnasts, CrossFit, yoga, cyclists, swimmers, wrestling, and strongmen. Sports share the common thread of movement, and our goal is to make your movement the best it can be.
